Our Principal, heads of Academic Committee, teachers of Integrated Humanities, Chinese History, and History visited the Christian Alliance SW Chan Memorial College for a staff development session on the 8th of March, 2017, to gain experience about school-based curriculum and teaching development in Geography, Chinese History, and History.
Dr. Jeffrey Richard Day, Professor at the HKU Faculty of Education, held a workshop for our school’s Science (included Physics, Chemistry and Biology), Mathematics and Technology teachers on the 6th of February, 2017. He exchanged ideas and experiences with our teachers about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education.
Our Secondary One students have completed their social service training in the first term through different adventure-based activities in order to boost their self-confidence and build up friendships. Activities included voluntary work, like serving the elderly in order to help them realize the daily challenges our senior citizens face as well as the physical and psychological needs, which have been arousing public concern.
