Eight Wise Five students, Chan Chi Ying, Chan Lok Tung, Lam Wing Tung, Lau Yat Yin, Lee Kate, Tam Cheuk Yan, Tse Carswell and Yip Tsz Kiu, accompanied by Assistant Principal Dr. Lam Tat Ho, had breakfast with Professor Fok Tai Fai, The Pro-Vice-Chancellor of CUHK under the scheme “Our First Encounter with CUHK Professors” on 19th November, 2017. Professor Fok shared skills on stress management, his experience with The Faculty of Medicine and interview skills. It was inspirational and impressive.
Eight Loyal Five students had a breakfast gathering with The Associate Dean Professor Wong Kam Fai, from Faculty of Engineering, CUHK under the scheme “Our First Encounter with CUHK Professors” on 23rd November, 2017. They were accompanied by Ms Chan Man Yee. Students Cheng Yuet Man, Fu Heng Yi, Lee Sai Ho, Man Yiu Chung, Tam Ka Man, Tran Shu Yu, Wong Ting Ho and Wong Yi Ting were very inspired by their conversation with Professor Wong about A.I. technology and development, and movie appreciation.
Six Honest Five students had a breakfast gathering with Professor Yeung Sau Chu, Alison from The Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Faculty of Education, CUHK under the scheme “Our First Encounter with CUHK Professors” on 15th November, 2017. They were accompanied by Ms. Wong Siu Wai. Students Chan Lik Hang, Chang Keh Luen, Chau Shing Hong, Ng Sin Chi, Son Ning Sang, and Woo Cheuk Ting were very inspired by their conversation with Professor Yeung about life experiences, teaching and learning experiences and the Chinese History curriculum.
Our Principal Mr. Chau Hau Fung, Assistant Principal Mr. Lam Tat Ho,Teacher Ms. Ho Suk Yin and Dr. Zhang Yue feng, Assistant Professor from Hong Kong University of Education received Commendation Awards for “Educational Research Award Scheme 15/16” that was organized by The Hong Kong Teachers’ Centre and Chinese History Education Society. This award recognizes the efforts of our teachers on the action research topic “Self-Regulated Learning: Fostering Curriculum and Teacher Development through a Professional Learning Community”.
