Our students have attained commendable results in the 2016 Hong Kong Diploma Secondary Education Examination. The overall pass rate is well above the Hong Kong average. The percentage of the students meeting the entry requirements for degree programmes is comparable to the average Hong Kong standard, whereas the percentage of the students meeting the entry requirements for sub-degree programmes is a result that exceeds the average Hong Kong standard. The pass rates of 12 subjects are higher than those of Hong Kong standard, including Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics, Mathematics Extended Part Module 1 (Calculus and Statistics), Liberal Studies, Economics, Geography, History, Chinese Literature, Business, Accounting and Financial Studies, Visual Arts and Information and Communication Technology. The best performers are Hau Hiu Yin, Lau Pan Shing and Lee Ho Lun. Congratulations!
‘Our First Encounter with CUHK Professors’ was successfully completed. 33 students of our school participated in the activity and had breakfast with 7 CUHK Professors. During the activity, professors shared their views on professional knowledge, learning tips, ways of dealing with people and campus life in CUHK with the students. All the participating students have gained a lot from the experience.
Our Secondary Five Biology students visited the Earth Science Museum of The University of Hong Kong on 18th May, 2016 and observed the display of dinosaur fossils. They also visited the campus of the university.
