A study tour to Vancouver was held this summer for 16 days in August. Apart from interactive English lessons at Bodwell High School, students participated in a wide variety of activities which included canoeing, picking blueberries, visiting the glaciers at Whistler, and many other memorable adventures. The students with the homestay volunteers also watched an international firework contest, took part in a pride parade, visited The Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge and shopped for souvenirs at Gas Town. The tour ended with the students having their greater confidence in their spoken English and increasing independence.
Our Secondary One to Four students visited the Shatin Sewage Treatment Works and The Nam Sang Wai River Education Trail on 17th September, 2016. This was to enhance the public awareness of conservation in Hong Kong.
The students of our Scientific Research Centre co-organized the 49th Joint School Science Exhibition with the help of the Preparation Committee from 21st to 29th August, 2016.
