The Healthy Cooking Competition was successfully held by Biology panel, Life Education panel and Library. All the Secondary 3 students were required to plan and cook one healthy dish for the competition. They were 2 in a group & had to prepare their own ingredients and cook within 40 minutes on the day of the competition. Students were well prepared and cooked a lot of delicious & attractive dishes during the competition. Prizes for this competition included Most healthy recipe, Most co-operative team, Most creative dish, Most delicious dish and Overall Champion. Winners list & photos are shown as follows:
Eight Secondary Five students had a breakfast gathering with Professor Jimmy C.M. Yu, Chairman of the Chemistry Department of CUHK under the scheme “Our First Encounter with CUHK Professors” on 16th May, 2019 accompanied by Ms. Yuk Yin Wong. Professor Yu shared with students some interview strategies and how students in Hong Kong broaden their horizons. Also, he encouraged students to be prepared for danger in times of peace.
Eight Secondary Five students had a breakfast gathering with Dr. Wing Fat Chan of the Chemistry Department of CUHK under the scheme “Our First Encounter with CUHK Professors” on 15th May, 2019 accompanied by Mr. Wing Yip Lo. Dr. Chan shared with students his student life in CUHK, encouraging students to set their goal and strive for it.
